Admission Decision
Sorry I haven't written in such a long time! I have no excuse. I haven't been busy. Schoolwork is not piling up. I'm just lazy and haven't felt like writing. I'll try and write more frequently.
I got an email today:
"CONGRATULATIONS! Your application for admission to the Graduate School of the University of Texas at Arlington has been approved. Your acceptance letter and admission packet are being sent to you. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!"
Alright! So now when someone asks me what I am doing after graduation, at least I have an answer. I'm happy that I have this opportunity but I still don't know if going to grad school is what I really want to do. I don't think I'll figure out my true career until I'm about 30 years old, and by then it will be too late to do anything about it. Oh well, at least I'll be doing something after I graduate instead of watching Dr. Phil.
Just to remind you, in my last entry, I asked for you to leave a comment about books that you would like to read. The only comment I received was, "I dont like reading..."
Let me try this comment thing again then. Instead of open answered, here is a multiple choice question. Your comment can consist of not even a sentence, just one character. Can it get easier then that?
What do you think I should do after I graduate?
a. Go to grad school starting in the spring at UTA
b. Get a "meaningless job" just to save up money in the spring and go to grad school starting in the fall
c. Get a "real job" programming
d. Watch Dr. Phil all day
e. Live off parents while writing a book
f. Other (Please specify)

Way to go Suzie!
Come on by and see the surprising announcement on the GASB blog. Oh, and I choose A. As long as you bring lots of cookies to eat at UT.

Hey Suzie!
I DEFINITELY think you need to go to UTA this spring! That's my input! ;) Of course, that's because I'm at UTA currently (as well as Holly). It could be our SGA committee reuniting! HA! Anyways...take care and maybe I'll get to see you at graduation, I'll be there! Congrats!
Suzie -
I'd say go to UTA in the spring... or save up money in a meaningless job for a semster beforehand. Also, if you do choose UTA, I will have to tell you about the very strange guy (who is a computer science major in the master's program, by the way) that hit on me today in the library. Let's just say it was one of those "i'd better grab my books and get out of here" type situations! hee hee. :)
