Syllabus Day
Guess who's back. Back again. Suzie's back. Tell a friend.
Tomorrow, I enter the real world. This day that I've been counting down from since the middle of March. June 6. The day I start my first full-time job.
I was pretty nervous earlier (as in, crying uncontrollably) until I read over my new hire packet and saw the agenda for the orientation tomorrow. All day, the only things I have to do are watch movies about ethics, safety, and diversity and sign up for my benefits. It'll be like the first day of class - syllabus day.
That's nothing to be nervous about. Syllabus day is fun. It's Tuesday that I'm worried about now.

Oh great! Now you got me even more worried about school ending and having to start a "real" job...i get to look forward to uncontrollable crying?!?! I hate when that happens!
I'm getting ready to go registar for my Fall classes...maybe I'll just sign up for a couple...delay graduation a little longer! ;) HA!
Whelp, I'm sure you're enjoying the "class objectives" part of your syllabus about right now. You know, the part the teacher reads and everyone is sitting there like..."blah blah blah...whatever whatever whatever...get to the good stuff like, the grading breakdown and the attendance policy" or in your case, the results of my drug test and my security clearance certificate! ;) HA!
Well, I'm sure your day number one has gone just fine and I'm sure day number two will go just as smoothly!
Ahh, syllabus day! The best day of class when hopes and grades are both still high and you make about a hundred resolutions to study this semester and actually read the chapters in the book that are assigned.
About 2 days later, you remember why you never read chapters in the first place and decide that you will adopt the philosophy that grades shouldn't matter as an explanation for the 1.67 GPA that you currently carry. Isn't college life great?
If lunch at Napolit's Today didn't calm you down nothing will.
