Confessions
It’s time for some confessions that I have been bundling up inside of me for a long time! First of all, we all know that I am a huge nerd. But do you really know how much of a nerd I am?
- I really like the movie Titanic. This one is hard for me to admit, especially because I have a friend with aspirations to be a movie critic. I afraid he’ll look down on me forevermore if he reads this. I owned a VHS copy of Titanic but I accidentally threw up on it. I’m planning on buying it again on DVD.
- I brush my teeth in the shower. I do this because whenever I brush my teeth I start foaming at the mouth. It’s like having mint-flavored rabies.
- I apply “No Bite” nail polish to my pens and pencils so I won’t chew on them during class. For all of you non-nail biters out there, applying “No Bite” to your nails makes them taste like rubbing alcohol mixed with vinegar. It helps you to stop biting them.
- I love the Partridge Family. On those long car trips to Abilene, I entertained myself by listening to their greatest hits CD.
- I get frustrated with myself when someone asks me what my pet peeves are, and I can't remember any of them.
- I still sleep with a teddy bear. Someday I’m going to have to give this up. But it’s not like I cuddle with it or anything…
- I love watching the Real World/Road Rules Challenge on MTV.
- I get jealous when I read other people’s blogs and they are more interesting or better written then mine. This happens often.
- Even though my room can get messy sometimes, I have an extensively labeled and organized filing cabinet. I use it regularly. I also made an extensively labeled and organized filing cabinet for Josh but I don’t think he appreciates the beauty of organization quite like I do.
- I laughed so much at my Introduction to Java entry. Programming humor cracks me up!

Suzie: I LOVED this blog! And for some weird reason the throwing up on your VHS tape part had me literally cracking up over here (I have NO idea why....HA!)
Brushing your teeth in the shower...nothing too weird about that...i know a lot of peopl do that.
Listening to the Partridge family on your trips to Abilene...that's cool...i crack my music and sing at the top of my lungs on that trip too. And I listen to just about ANYTHING...Hanson sometimes! ;)
As for being jealous about other people's blogs, obviously yours are good too, or you wouldn't have more than 1,500 visitors! ;)
The organization thingy...I'm really organized too...that's a cool thing if you ask me!

Nice blahg entry. Thanks for the tip on brushing teeth in the shower! I shall never go back to sink brushing again. The whole sleeping with the bear, it's ok because I gave you the bear! And lastly, have you seen that organized box you made me? It seems that I have misplaced it...

I also brush my teeth in the shower, partly because it saves time, and also because I've been known to get toothpaste on the bathroom counter, mirror, my pants, etc.
I threw up in Titanic too, but that doesn't make you a nerd.
The Real World thing is a bummer, but all in all that isn't that impressive of a nerd resume. Perhaps if you liked NASCAR you could better convince me of your nerd status.

Daniel - I'm finding out that brushing your teeth in the shower isn't as uncommon as I thought it was. Hmm.
Tucker - I'm not so much of a NASCAR fan. Formula One runs in my blood.
Don't know if anyone will ever read this comment because I am WAY behind on my Suzie-Lit. But I just have to say that ever since we were counselors at ISCC together and you warned me that you brush your teeth in the shower so I wouldn't think you weren't brushing, I have done it to! And I too, worry about my roommates thinking I haven't brushed my teeth because of it!
